|Firefly Announces Merger with KnowledgeNet, Inc. - Global Expert in New Product Introduction Expands Reach|
October 2, 2017 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SAN JOSE, CA - It was announced today that Firefly has completed its merger with KnowledgeNet, a Phoenix-based leader in Information Technology Education.
According to Andrew Usherwood, CEO at Firefly, this is a transitional moment for the company and its customers. “Firefly has built a reputation for innovation and delivering demonstrable results for our clients; and frankly, all while having relatively limited sales resources.”
KnowledgeNet is known among IT professionals as a leading provider of innovative and high-value certification training. Usherwood cites KnowledgeNet’s reputation for quality programs and their extensive client base as the impetus for the two companies to begin a working relationship in early 2016.
“We recognized that, together, we were thoroughly aligned in a number of areas. KnowledgeNet’s catalog of IT education programs and their success as a sales organization fit well with the growing needs we were recognizing among our own organization and clientele”, explained Usherwood. “The merger grew organically from that strategic partnership.”
Usherwood expressed excitement about the expected results of the merger. “Combining our IT Education portfolios will provide a holistic destination for clients seeking the World’s best IT training. Working together we are able to reach more customers with better and simple IT education solutions.”
